Boltz's Family Martial Arts Academy Black Belts

Becoming a Black Belt at Boltz's Family Martial Arts Academy requires a great deal of dedication and hard work. The path from white belt to Black Belt typically takes 2-4 years, depending on a student's attendance, at-home practice and personal motivation to advance. On the path to Black Belt, students will develop mentally and physically as martial artists.

In addition to learning the color belt curriculum with a demonstration of exceptional proficiency, the student will also gain and refine the imperative life skills which are the cornerstones of our teachings. Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit are qualities you will witness in all of our students, but particularly our Black Belts.

We ask all students and families to recognize the magnitude of reaching the rank of Black Belt. It is a milestone that is often compared to earning a college diploma. Be prepared, during color belt training and advancement, to begin developing all of the tools you will need to begin your martial arts training as a Black Belt. Some people often have the misconception that Black Belt is the end of the Taekwondo journey. Conversely, earning the rank of Black Belt marks the beginning of one's Taekwondo training.
