Korean Sword (Haidong Gumdo)
Korean Sword, or Haidong Gumdo, consists of basic techniques, forms, step sparring, sparring, energy building exercises and cutting practice. Additionally, there exists a mind/body/spirit balance to Haidong Gumdo. Advance to Black Belt in Haidong Gumdo while creating balance and haromony in your day-to-day life!
No Previous Martial Arts Expereince Required!
* Youth students (ages 5-11) with more than 1 year of martial arts experience are also welcome to join us!
The After School Martial Arts Program (AMP) provides transportation for students from their school to Boltz’s Family Martial Arts and Fitness for our fun and focused after-school care.
AMP students are provided a snack, directed homwork time, games, crafts, activities and, of course, Martial Arts classes!
We currently pick up students from St. Paul, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, West St. Paul, Eagan and South St. Paul. Let us know if your interested in enrolling your child and we may be able to add your school to one of our routes!
With a typical enrollment of 20-30 kids, a 4:1 student to staff ratio, and a tired, enriched, happy child at the end of your work day, AMP is the obvious choice for your child's after-school needs!

School Release Camps
When schools have a day off, we're open for our fun-filled school release camps! Camps include a full day of fun games and martial arts!

Red Dragon Warriors Competition Team
Existing Taekwondo students can join any of our competition teams!
The Sparring team meets for two hours each week for intense training to hone their sparring skills which allows this award winning team to continue bringing home the Gold!
The Weapons team meets each Saturday with a focus on refining weapons forms using bo staffs, kamas, nunchucks, shanai swords and iron whips.
The Pattern team meets each Saturday in conjunction with Weapons Team. Pattern Teams works to refine the students execution of the Tae Geuk pattern series with an emphasis on competition. Pattern competitors will learn what could cost them a point deduction, ways to maximize their scoring ability and how to perform a tournament-worthy pattern.
Women's Self-Defense Seminiars
Boltz's Taekwondo offers several Women's Self-Defense Seminars each year. The initial seminar focuses on avoidance techniques, facts and easy escape maneuvers. Part two, which occurs a couple of months later, reiterates much of the same valuable information, and also additionally focuses on striking and more complex escape techniques. Kidnapping Prevention Seminars
These seminars are designed for children ages 3 and older. The seminars focus on stranger danger, avoidance techniques and escape maneuvers. Call us for more information!
